Dawn Olsen
Dawn discovered yoga in 2005 to help balance her somewhat hectic lifestyle. Along with a few major changes in her life, Dawn became a dedicated yoga practitioner in 2007 & in November 2010 she received her 200 hour Vinyasa Certification from Joschi Yoga Institute, NYC. The word Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement." She will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is sometimes also called Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance.
She strives to help her students to calm the mind, while strengthening & detoxifying the body. Dawn encourages you come & make her class your own and feel free to change/modify poses to suit your needs and your body (especially for any injuries or sensitivities). Regardless of injury, age, fitness level or body type everyone can practice and benefit from this powerful healing art.
